Jill started her career in advertising at Chiat/Day and rose to the position of Deputy Head of Planning at Ogilvy before deciding to purse more entrepreneurial opportunities.
She possess a deep and broad perspective of the new/social media and its ongoing impact, effect and benefit for users, business and branding. Working on Apple computers, in 1984, and the first Internet ecommerce model; NetworkMCI, in 1993 put Jill at the forefront of understanding and adapting digital and online mediums and technologies for research and communication and marketing strategies.
She has provided analysis and reporting on a study to explore the potential of Facebook Groups in Business (FGIB), conducted by the 21st In addition to her blogs, websites and tweets Jill extends her experience of social media, online networks and spaces by participating in virtually all the online brands contained in this proposal.
Jay Ackroyd
Jay has been managing software projects in the realm of the personal computer for as long as there have been personal computers. Working with clients like American Express, Marsh and McLennan, Chase, Estee Lauder, the Royal Bank of Scotland, and other Fortune 500 companies,
he has implemented mission-critical, enterprise-wide systems.
At the same time, Jay has participated in online social media, again from the time of 300 baud modems to today’s rich environment. He has a prominent presence on the web, writing for one site that attracts over 70,000 visits a day.
Jay also runs projects developing applications in the Virtual World of Second Life. And he hosts a weekly talk show, Virtually Speaking, that attracts well-known guests.
